MY FRIENDS AND I........ Episode 1

ADEOLA.

Friends are people you come across by chance or by fate.

Some are so sweet and adorable, they make things really easy and there are this other ones, that makes life really stressful and frustrating.

“There are friends that come into your life and stay for a long time, for a short time, and for a lifetime.”

So Adeola was a guy I met in Lagos University Teaching Hospital(LUTH), so kind at heart. My mom told me that even on his sick bed he asks about my health (because i was a noise maker 😂). The funny thing was, his health wasn't any better, in fact, it was a more critical case. He was only concerned because he feels I'm in a greater pain that he was.

Fast forward to when I started to see things and people around me, he was the first person I saw after my mum, he was really playful and funny too. We throw tantrums at each other from our beds leaving other ward mates with plenty laughter. Few days later, I started my Physiotherapy (as it was very important for my case). And so, anytime I feel I want to try moving on my own, I walk around but most times to and fro his bed.

Adeola was really useful to my recovery and health balance even when he himself can not move. I remember a day my mum got frustrated because I wasn't getting it yet, I cried and got really angry too that I didn't want to try anything out. Omooooooo, booda deola disagreed and gingered me to try my best. Did i even tell you that the nurses separates us at night?.... Countless times sef 😂

Who exactly do you have in your circle?

How do you relate with the people in your circle?

How have you been of help to those in your circle?

What do you even think of the people in your circle?

Today, I remember Adeola and I am grateful to God for the gift of him, because if he wasn't there at that moment to encourage me, I'd have spent another one month or several months on bed causing us to spend more than we already spent. I cried the day i was transferred to another ward because a patient needed my bed but the day I cried the most was when I was leaving the hospital without him, because he's a friend i never wanted to part ways with and i was really scared that i might not get to see him again. I'm glad to tell y'all that Adeola is doing really well now and I'm so proud of him.

This is me saying Thank You Adeola, for being a really good friend, thank you for your words of encouragements and thank you for coming out of that hospital alive too.

God bless you.

So, dear friends, get yourself people who wants the best for you even at their own detriment, get yourself people who want to see you win even when they are planning to quit their own dream. Be someone's encouragement too, be someone's reason to smile.

You are a friend to someone and someone is your friend too. In your circle, do to them what you want them to do to you, don't just always be at the receiving end, try to be at the giving end too. Friendship is sweeter that way.

Thanks guys for reading, i hope you enjoyed today's episode of my friends and I....... See you all in the next episode.
